Gilbert Park

Located at the lakefront at the intersection of Tremain Street and Liberty Avenue, this recently renovated park is one of Mount Dora's favorite facilities. Along with 2 new pavilions, upgraded restrooms, new landscaping, and improved parking, the "Wood Wonderland" playground has been updated to include a new "Kids Castle" particularly popular with parents and children. Also in Gilbert Park is Alexander Creek, a surprisingly special area for visiting, named after a former Mayor. Gilbert Park was named for its donor, Mr. Earl Gilbert.

This park was worth the 45 minute drive! All 3 of my boys age 18,12 and 2 enjoyed it!
